Pause, Clone & More Control
This release introduces two highly requested features for Monitoring Resources: the ability to pause monitoring and clone existing resources. Thank you to everyone who submitted feature requests – your feedback directly shapes the product!
Pause & Resume Monitoring
Take control of your monitoring schedule with flexible pause options:
- Quick pause presets – 15 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours, or 24 hours
- Disable permanently – stop monitoring without deleting the resource
- One-click resume – instantly restore monitoring when ready
Paused resources are automatically excluded from scheduled checks, so you won't receive alerts for resources you've intentionally paused.
When to Use Pause
- Scheduled maintenance – pause monitoring before planned downtime to avoid false alerts
- Troubleshooting – temporarily stop checks while investigating issues
- Seasonal resources – disable monitoring for services not in active use
No more waking up to alert floods during scheduled maintenance or scrambling to re-enable monitoring after the work is done.
Clone Resources
Duplicate existing resources with one click. The clone feature copies all settings from an existing resource, letting you quickly create similar monitors without starting from scratch.
This is particularly useful when setting up multiple similar resources – create one, configure it exactly how you want, then clone and adjust the target URL or host as needed.
Improved Activity Indicators
The activity squares on the resource list now use a simplified 4-tier color system for better consistency and easier interpretation at a glance.
Interface Improvements
We've made several smaller improvements to streamline daily workflows:
- Smart auto-fill – resource name auto-populates from URL/host as you type
- Inline contact editing – manage alert contacts without leaving the page
Expanded Monitoring Network
We've added new monitoring locations to provide better coverage across Asia and North America:
- New Delhi, India
- Hong Kong, China
- Coral Springs, USA
South Korea is coming soon – stay tuned for even broader coverage!
What's Next
These improvements lay the groundwork for upcoming enhancements to resource management. Keep the feature requests coming – we're listening!
